Cristiano Ronaldo is a boss!

A video is going viral this week featuring Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is currently on international duty as the reigning European Champions look to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

Portugal are currently second in Group B, three points behind leaders Switzerland.

Switzerland have to travel to Portugal in the final round of matches in the group, which looks set to be an playoff decider for which country automatically qualifies for Russia 2018.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s special message

While Ronaldo have been occupied with Portugal, he’s currently on the sidelines for Real Madrid.

That’s after he was slapped with a five match ban after he put his hands on the ref in the Spanish Super Cup.

Either way, Ronaldo has found time to film a lovely message for a 13-year-old Brazilian boy called Rodrigo.

The video was broadcasted on a Brazilian TV show called Hora do Faro, while Cristiano’s sister, Katia Aveiro, was a guest.

Young Rodrigo is known for trying his hardest to make money for his family. He reportedly sells whatever he can find, as he tries to support his disabled half-sister.

He’s also a huge Real Madrid fan, and Ronaldo is his favourite player.

Rodrigo’s story has reached Ronaldo, and Cristiano recorded the following message for his young fan:

Hello, Rodrigo. I made this video to send you a lot of strength and to tell you to believe in your potential.

My sister Katia was telling me that you have a lot of talent and what I can tell you is that you follow your dreams. I hope that you can have a lot of luck in your future. A big hug, my friend.

Katia Aveiro then presented the lad with a Real Madrid shirt signed by Ronaldo.
